Refund & cancellation policy

What happens when you stop renewing, cancel a service or need help with a payment.

Draft for owner review · 15 October 2026

Publication details pending

The legal operator’s name, registered address, support email, phone and grievance contact must be confirmed before publication. These policies are a draft for business and legal review; they do not confirm Razorpay approval.

01

Policy status & scope

The refund provisions below are proposed terms for owner approval, not an existing refund guarantee. Refund eligibility and processing timelines must be approved by the operator before this page is submitted as a final merchant policy.

This policy covers AttendancePulse digital subscriptions and employee-capacity purchases. Separately agreed enterprise orders may have different written terms. Hardware bought from a distributor is subject to that seller’s return/warranty policy, not this software policy.

02

Free trial & manual renewal

Use the 15-day free trial to evaluate the service before purchasing. No card is required at registration, and trial expiry does not cause an automatic debit.

Current subscriptions use prepaid, one-time checkout. To stop renewing, do not make another renewal payment. There is currently no recurring mandate to cancel in AttendancePulse. A future auto-renewal service would require separate consent and a clear mandate-cancellation process.

03

Cancellation & access at expiry

You may request account/service cancellation through the contact form or a workspace support ticket. Tell us whether you want to stop renewal, close the workspace, or raise a payment dispute; these are different requests.

Stopping renewal does not by itself end a verified paid period early. At its recorded expiry, operational access is locked, including attendance punching, attendance history, reports, employee directory and tenant logs. Limited sign-in, billing and support access remains available.

Records are not deleted merely because renewal stops. Contact support before expiry about record retrieval or closure; deletion remains subject to legal retention and the Privacy Policy.

04

Proposed refund eligibility

The proposed approach is to review verified duplicate charges, incorrect billing, and successful payments for which the purchased service was not activated or supplied. Support may first correct the payment allocation or restore the service where appropriate.

Under the proposed terms, a change of mind, non-use, an employee-count reduction, or cancellation after service activation would not ordinarily receive a prorated refund for unused time. Employee top-ups and discounted prepaid periods would follow the same approach unless a written order provides otherwise.

Payment fraud, chargebacks and exceptional service failures require case-by-case review. Nothing in this draft excludes a refund or remedy required by applicable law. There is no approved “money-back” period in the current offering.

05

How to request a review

Use “Contact us” below or raise a billing support ticket from your workspace. Include:

  • Business/workspace name and registered account email.
  • Razorpay order/payment reference, payment date and amount.
  • Plan/billing period and a clear explanation of the problem.
  • Relevant evidence with confidential banking information removed.

Never share your card CVV, OTP, UPI PIN or banking password. Support may verify the requester’s authority and the payment status before making a decision.

06

Pending, failed & approved refunds

If your account was debited but checkout is pending or failed, contact support with the transaction reference. A pending debit is not proof that AttendancePulse has received a confirmed payment; the provider/bank status must be checked.

If a refund is approved, it should be returned through the payment provider to the original payment method, subject to provider and bank rules. Bank reversal/settlement times vary. The operator must confirm its review and refund-initiation turnaround before adopting this policy; no fixed processing deadline is promised in this draft.

Do not make repeated payments solely because activation is delayed. Check transaction status with support first. A refund or reversal may result in the corresponding subscription entitlement being withdrawn.
